Burt’s Bees has always been one of my favorite drugstore lip balm brands. I remember when I would take a break from studying and walk to the closest CVS next to my university and just shop around, and by shop around I mean raid the beauty section for my next blog post LOL. One of the products I would always pick up was lip balm, specifically Burt’s Bees lip balm. It was the best balm at the drugstore, it was all natural, and it had cute packaging. We all know I’m a sucker for packaging!
Fast forward three years later I attended my first Burt’s Bees beauty event. It was so special to get to meet some of the people behind the brand and talk to them about their latest products, which was lipstick at the time. This year when I attended their beauty event I was introduced to their new line of skincare featuring the key ingredient, royal jelly. Wondering what that is? Here is a breakdown straight from the source, “Royal Jelly is one of nature’s most nourishing superfoods. Fed to the Queen Bee. Royal Jelly contains all 3 macronutrients as well as antioxidants, vitamins B2, B2, B6, minerals, and essential amino acids. It is the reason she lives 40 times longer than worker bees.”
OK enough about the Queen B of bee’s, lets jump into my favorite products.
When it comes to lip products I literally, and I mean literally, have every single item in every single color they sell. Of course I have my favorite colors but I use and love all the lip products Burt’s Bees has to offer.
P.S. Try their new Tinted Lip Oils you will fall in love!
In all honesty I don’t like any of the cleansers I’ve tried from the brand before because I never felt like it really cleaned my face. I also don’t like that most of their cleansers direct you to avoid the eye area, when you are trying to remove makeup AND cleanse at the same time its kind of annoying. However, I really like this one. I use it in the mornings to remove skincare from the night before and it works well. I probably wouldn’t use it to remove makeup but I like it in the morning to refresh me and brighten up my skin.
I use this tonic right after I’ve cleansed my face and just before I put on my skincare. It removes any excess makeup that my cleanser might have missed (especially around my hairline). Love this stuff!
I have been using this night cream lately and I really like the texture and hydration it provides. It’s lightweight and has a moosey texture so you really have to work it into your skin, which I do with skincare anyway. I feel like this would be great for oily skin, but if you have really really dry skin you might need something a little more richer.
I love all types of facial oils, including this one because it has rosehip which is really great for the skin. I use this after I’ve applied all my skincare. I take a little into my hands and press it onto my moisturized face.
“Rosehip, Jojoba and Evening Primrose that works like a serum to give skin a naturally powerful dose of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. In just one use, this anti-aging powerhouse leaves skin hydrated, smooth, and rejuvenated.”
Love the feel of these pads and they remove makeup really well, especially liquid lipsticks!
I use these towelettes every time I travel, especially on the plane. I don’t necessarily use it to remove makeup because although they do an okay job they aren’t as good as my Neutrogena ones but rather to freshen me up. The cucumber one is my favorite one because it is so refreshing, it has a fresh scent, and it feels great on my skin.
I love anything that has shea in it because it is so moisturizing and it smells great. This body butter is great for anyone who hates the feeling of moisture but loves moisture, if that makes sense. This product seeps right into your skin so you don’t feel that oily-like feeling and I like that because I don’t like to stick to everything once I’ve put on body lotion.
Now this cream definitely keeps your hands feeling moisturized (and by moisturized I don’t mean oily) and when it comes to my hands I really like that feeling; hate it on my body but love it on my hands. I work this thick cream into my hands for a few minutes and voila, soft plump hands. If you really want to hydrate your hands apply a generous amount of this cream, top it off with the facial oil we talked about earlier or any body oil you have on hand, and put your hands in a moisture glove. Keep it on all night and feel the difference in the morning.
P.S. Never neglect your hands because signs of aging appear there sooner than anywhere else.
I have been using this product for years. If you follow me from before I had this official website, back when I was blogging on blogger.com, then you would know my obsession with this. I’ve talked about it so much in the past and although I don’t use it often its the first thing I turn to when I want softer feet. I mean common who doesn’t want soft feet. I apply a thick layer of this, wear socks, and sleep. You wake up with baby soft feet!
