I created this super cute Mermaid makeup for Halloween and I’m going to give you all the product details and steps so you can achieve it too!
Let’s begin 🙂
Step 2: Apply an illuminator on all the areas you would like to glow! I used my Josie Maran Argan Illumanizer (it has new packaging) all over my forehead, on my cheeks, collarbones, and down the bridge of my nose!
Step 3: I applied a warm brown transition color to my crease which I blended down the sides of my nose (you can use any warm brown). Then I used my Pur Minerals Eye Polish to apply all over my lids. I love this stuff, it’s truly amazing! You can use it as an eyeshadow base or even over eyeshadow. It’s super intense and sooooooo sparkley!!!!! Everything else that I applied to my eyes was from one of the 3 Morphe palettes I mentioned below.
Step 4: After my shadows I curled my lashes, applied a thin coat of mascara & popped on these House Of Lashes in “Boudoir.”
Step 5: Now onto the scales. I picked up a wig cap from the Halloween store, put it over my face, and began filling in the little holes. I used my fluffy Sonia Kashuk blending brush to apply all the shadow. I used a variation of three Morphe Palettes (35U, 35D & 35S) but you can totally purchase one and get away with it I just happened to have a bunch so I mixed it all. I also used my new Japonesque Color Pixelated Eyeshadow Palette!
Step 6: Once I finished all the scales I went back in with my Becca “Moonstone” highlighter and intensely highlighted my cheekbones, collar bones, bridge of my nose, cupids bow, and chin!
Step 7: Lastly, I applied the 4th color in the top row all over my lips. Then, I followed up with the 1st color from the bottom row and shaded in the outter corners to give an ombre effect. I also applied a little bit of my Becca highlighter in the center of my lips to make it look larger and to make the center POP! This is the Morphe 10LN Palette.
Voila, you are all done 🙂 If you re-create this look please feel free to share with me!
