I have been teasing everyone with Snapchats of my steak recipe for months now. But, as promised here are the step-by-step details for my perfectly grilled juicy steak! I promise you this will be your weekly craving.
What you need:
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Lemon Pepper (Or regular black pepper)
- 2 Cloves of Garlic
- 2-3 Shallots
- Steak Of Choice
Preparations:
Preheat the grill to 350 degrees.
Combine the soy sauce, spices, garlic, and shallots. Add to ziploc bag (easiest way to marinade).
Add the steak to the mixture and remove as much air as possible so the steak can soak up all the flavor.
Marinate the steak for at least 10 minutes (overnight is better).
Place the steak on the grill and pour some of that remaining marinade on top (save some for later as well).
Grill for about 5 minutes each side. Continuously coat the meat with the marinade until you are all out. I find that this technique intensifies the flavors.
Once the meat is done take it off the grill and set it aside to rest for a few minutes. This finishes the cooking process and keeps the steak juicy, so it’s crucial that you don’t skip this step!
I love drinking a glass (or two) of red wine with my meat, so pour yourself a glass and enjoy!
Here is the tender, juicy, and delicious steak. YUM! I’m getting hungry just looking at this picture, even though the picture does not do it justice.
I hope you guys enjoyed this recipe and make sure to email or tag me in pictures if you make this dish 🙂
Don’t forget to share (Tweet, Pin, and Email) all this goodness with your friends and family.
XOXO,
Greta
